ULI Student Mentorship Program

The Real Estate Student Association (RESA) is proud to offer RESA members exclusive access to ULI's Student Mentorship program! The goal of the Mentorship Program is to provide 3rd and 4th year students with the opportunity to learn more about the real estate industry and its related career paths from an industry professional. Mentoring is a special partnership between two people based on a commitment to the mentoring process, common goals and expectations, focus, mutual trust and respect. The vetting process to select mentees will be as follows:

  • The mentorship program will be restricted to undergraduate members of RESA. If an individual wish to become a mentee, they must be enrolled as a student at the University of Calgary and be a paid RESA member. First preference will be given to third- and fourth-year students with a specialization in Real Estate Studies.

  • Each member must submit an official application in order to be considered for the mentorship program. Please see ‘Schedule A’ for a sample of the application form.

  • All applications will undergo a review by the President and VP Mentorship. The candidates will be finalized based on their interest in the real estate industry and commitment to the mentorship program. All candidates will be interviewed either in person or via telephone by VP Mentorship. In order to eliminate any bias (perceived or real), the final list of chosen mentees must be approved by the Director of the Westman Centre for Real Estate Studies.

  • Application Deadline: 11:59 PM Sunday, October 6, 2019.
