About Us

 

We are passionate about the real estate industry. Our new initiative, RESA-Investment (RESA-I) will take a deep dive into residential real estate investment from a practical and entrepreneurial perspective. Due to this being a new initiative, we are creating an student team to refine a real estate investment process that will be used and taught to students in the future.

 

The RESA-I mission statement is: To build and connect the real estate investors of the future.

 

About The Project

• Work in a student led and run club

• Create and discover effective methods and processes to invest in residential real estate

.

The following activities are core to this position:

• Market Analysis

• Building research frameworks

• Creating investment models

• Presenting results to stakeholders

 

This position is meant for University of Calgary students who aspire to personally invest in real estate and are looking for the knowledge and network to get started. 

 

Commitment: 5 to 10 hours per week.

Duration: Fall Semester (and opportunity for winter semester)

Type of Position: Volunteer (club member)

Position Credentials:

• Passionate about real estate investment

• Experience, knowledge, OR/AND classroom experience in real estate or investment.

• Knowledge of building financial models (Excel) OR/AND market research. 

• A team player

• Open to learning and curious

• Strong communication skills
